Penny doesn’t suffer fools, but being surrounded by fools is exhausting. She is curious, exceedingly bright, and highly ambitious with a passion for science and strategy games. She has a thirst for knowledge and a mind that whirls with ideas, always questioning the world around her. Penny embraces her intellectual side with pride, but that doesn’t come without its challenges. Surrounded by friends and classmates who can’t comprehend he need for learning, she is a fish out of water, like her brother Milo, but she is less concerned with conforming to mediocrity in order to fit in. With lofty dreams of winning a Nobel Prize and becoming the President of the United States, Penny is determined to make the world a better place - meaning more curious and engaged.
Hobbies and Interests:
- Strategy games: Penny is a champion Go player. There are very few go players to compete against anymore, since everyone just wants to watch dance videos on their devices. Super frustrating.

Goals and Aspirations:
Penny’s greatest ambition is to start the Lincoln Grove High School Science Club, where she hopes to spark curiosity and engagement among her peers. But there are few takers. Kids would rather veg out and scroll social media. Her dreams don’t stop there; she aspires to win a Nobel Prize in a scientific field and eventually make her way to the White House. Penny believes that as President, she could inspire future generations to be curious and passionate and actually care about the world around them, making science accessible and exciting for everyone.
Relationships:
-Parents: Her parents are well-meaning, but oblivious. They are seemingly supportive, but incapable of keeping up with her.
- Milo Tinker (Twin Brother): Milo is Penny’s only ally in her quest for scientific discovery. Although he shares her intellectual interests, he often tries to hide his smarts to fit in with their peers. Penny admires his intelligence but wishes he would embrace it more openly. Together, they form a dynamic duo, often brainstorming ideas for experiments and club activities.
- Friends and Classmates: While Penny has a few friends, many of them tease her for her intellectual pursuits. She hopes to inspire them to be more curious, but their indifference often leaves her feeling isolated. She’s determined to show them that learning can be fun and rewarding.
Quirks:
- Blows air out of the side of her mouth when thinking, like a steam engine.
-Cool under pressure. Talks very fast when excited. Ta’ks very slowly when suffering fools.
-Makes up her own swear words.
