We then make shares of the future revenue from this IP available to our community of investors. The capital raised furthers ongoing creative development as we license fully-developed IP to multimedia partners.
Position Overview:
As a Venture Partner for Whistler, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial and creative landscape necessary for the successful launch and growth of this high-potential project. This position offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in entertainment, finance, and creative development while working alongside a dynamic team committed to pushing the boundaries of storytelling. Your contributions will be instrumental in transforming Whistler from concept to reality, ensuring it meets both artistic and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate with the Managing Partner to develop comprehensive financial models and budgets that align with the vision for Whistler. Identify potential funding sources, including investors and partnerships, to secure the necessary capital for continued development and production. Monitor and evaluate financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial goals throughout the project's lifecycle.
2. Creative Development: Engage with writers, directors, and other creative professionals to refine the narrative and artistic vision of Whistler. Provide insights and feedback on creative content, ensuring it aligns with market trends and audience expectations. Foster an environment of collaboration and innovation, encouraging the creative team to explore new ideas and approaches.
3. Market Analysis and Positioning: Conduct thorough market research to identify target demographics, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends that may influence Whistler. Develop and implement marketing strategies to position Whistler effectively, maximizing its reach and impact.
4. Networking and Relationship Management: Leverage your industry connections to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including talent, production companies, and distributors. Represent Whistler at industry events, pitch meetings, and networking functions, advocating for its potential and securing buy-in from influential players in the field.
5. Project Oversight: Work closely with the Managing Partner to oversee the project timeline and deliverables, ensuring milestones are met and quality standards are upheld. Participate in regular team meetings, providing updates and insights on both financial and creative aspects of the project. Assist in troubleshooting any challenges that arise during development and production, implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will posses the following: Proven experience in the entertainment industry, with a strong understanding of both creative development and financial management. Demonstrated success in launching or managing entertainment IP, including familiarity with project financing, budgeting, and market positioning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and strategic thinking. Passion for storytelling and a deep appreciation for the evolving landscape of entertainment.

Compensation for this role includes participation in revenue shares of the underlying IP.
