Invest in Early-Stage Entertainment IP.

At Macguffin Co., we curate and develop early-stage entertainment IP, working with creators to turn concepts for storylines and characters into books, movies, games, and more. We then make shares of the future revenue from this IP available to our community of investors. The capital raised furthers ongoing creative development as we license fully-developed IP to multimedia partners.

How does it work? Simple:

1. Consider Concepts: hop over to the Offerings page to consider Concepts with upcoming Investment Offerings.

2. Review the Terms: understand the terms of each Offering as detailed there. Terms vary by Offering.

3. Get Pitched: if a Concept piques your interest, you can RSVP to receive the full pitch deck, and we’ll notify of the pending Investment Offering. You’ll receive updates on the work-in-progress as the deadline approaches, and access to the investment portal when the Offering launches. (*By requesting a pitch, you’re under no obligation to invest.)

Join our community to receive all the latest concepts, team news, and editorial commentary in our investor newsletter, GUFF: Macguffin’s Character Issues, delivered to your in-box weekly.

Drop us a synopsis.

Have a great idea for story? Send it to us, we’re always on the lookout for great characters, stories and worlds to develop. And now we’re open to submissions.

So leave us a logline and drop us a synopsis. If accepted by our Editorial Board, we'll post the concept to our community of Macguffins to either redlight or greenlight. If your idea is greenlit, we'll offer you a development agreement, build a team to collaborate on a pilot, raise capital for development, and shop the pilot to media partners.

You can also visit our Jobs Board to apply for open roles on creative teams.

Invest in early-stage entertainment IP.

At Macguffin Co., we curate promising concepts to develop into books, films, games, and merchandise.

When Offerings are greenlit, we’ll work with an SEC registered intermediary to launch an investment offering. An Offering is an invitation to invest in a share of the future revenue of the franchise.

With the capital raised, we’ll fully develop the franchise and license the intellectual property rights to media partners, generating returns for creatives and investors.
